Kuopio Encounters is a community art project with an aim of engaging local people including new immigrants who were refugees. I led the project with ANTI Festival and the New Start Finland! research project. The project culminates in a real world event at the ANTI Contemporary Art Festival in Kuopio Finland, 23 September 2017, which correlates with Online content.

These images are from @KuopioUFO on Instagram which was part of an approach to using mobile phone as the critical media for online storytelling. Using iconic signs and symbols of the region we envisioned new memories in Kuopio.
