The little House was built from wood and nails recovered from discarded pallets.
The larger creature was built with wooden nails and interlocking joints without the use of metal hardware or glue.
Starting with the tools and materials I encountered at the site, I constructed the installation in the public space for a minimum of twelve hours each day 17 to 26 June 2016 in Akka Finland.
This project was created with the support of the Näkymä 2016 festival and TaideAkaa. Curated by Pauli Ahopelto and produced by Niina Anneli-Kaarnamo.
